2 Peter and Jude find their audience in need of guidance and endurance to combat against heresies and false teachers. While there are stark similarities to these two epistles, each has their own purpose for writing. Peter implores his audience to defend their faith; Jude writes for his audience to contend against heresies. In this study, we will explore what these intentions imply for the original audience and explore how genuine believers today should apply these words to our faith.
